What Is the Cruz Kids Club
Most parents assume that if they bring their child to an orthodontist, it means braces are coming soon
That is not how it works at Cruz Orthodontics
In fact, most kids do not need treatment right away. They just need to be monitored as they grow. That is exactly why we created the Kids Club

Why the Kids Club Exists
The goal is simple
We want to catch potential issues early without starting treatment too soon
By seeing kids at a younger age, we can make sure their teeth and jaws are developing properly and avoid bigger problems later
Most Kids Do Not Need Early Treatment
This is one of the most important things for parents to understand
Only about 20 percent of kids benefit from early orthodontic treatment
The other 80 percent simply need to be monitored over time
The Kids Club gives families a structured and stress free way to do that
How the Kids Club Works
Kids in the club come in a few times per year so we can track how their smile is developing
At each visit, we keep things simple, positive, and focused on progress
And yes, we make it fun
Kids receive things like lanyards, prizes, and opportunities to be part of drawings for bigger rewards. It helps them feel like they are part of something instead of just going to an appointment
Why Kids Actually Enjoy It
Something interesting happens over time
Kids who may be nervous at their first visit start to feel comfortable and confident
By the time they are ready for treatment, they already know the office, the team, and what to expect
That makes the entire process easier for both the child and the parent
When Should Your Child Start
We typically recommend an orthodontic evaluation around age 7 or 8
But the real goal is not to start treatment. It is to understand what is happening and create a plan
The Kids Club becomes the bridge between that first visit and the right time for treatment
